How to service and repair the oil pan on Mercury Mariner?

To service the oil pan, place the vehicle in neutral position, take away the air cleaner outlet pipe and loosen designated bolts 5 mm. Lift the oil pan bolts, drain the oil and clean the surfaces without metal objects. Place sealant, fit the oil pan and screw the bolts to required torque. On the parts remove and re-oil.
