How to remove and replace the front seat cushion and reset the Occupant Classification Sensor (OCS) system on Mercury Mariner?

In order to change the front seat cushion, remove the seat. Disassembled, the Occupant Classification Sensor (OCS) is reset with a scan tool. Unplug required wiring even to heated seats. Install the cushion once again with the correct conditions and voltage of the OCS reset. Identify any SRS faults in case of airbag indicator fault.

In order to remove the rear seat cushion, one needs to unlock the latch and slant the cushion. Next, open the locking tab then move the cushion out to get it out. In order to reinstall, just follow these steps in reverse.
