How to service the sunroof or moonroof panel on Mercury Mariner?

The service for sunroof or moonroof panels requires opening the roof glass window to vent mode as a first step. First unfasten the four screws maintaining the roof opening panel glass and remove the glass panel from its fittings. Follow installation procedures by screwing the new glass panels tightly until you reach 5 Nm (44 lb-in) torque value. For installation reverse all steps of removal by first centering the roof opening panel and then aligning it before tightening its bolts.
