How to service the sunroof or moonroof Air Deflector on Mercury Milan?

The first step to service the sunroof or moonroof windguard involves setting the roof opening panel glass at a full OPEN position. Service personnel should disengage and detach two screws from the front section of the roof opening panel air deflector while tightening them to 1 Nm (9 lb-in) when reinstalling. After opening the roof glass to its full extent users must unlock the spring mechanism by lifting upward and pulling before removing the air deflector assembly from each side. Before the installation of the air deflector reverse the steps of removal and make sure to activate the roof opening panel motor afterward.
