How to service the intake air duct on Mercury Milan?

In order to service the intake air duct, remove crankcase vent and vacuum tube connection to ACL outlet pipe. In the case of PZEVs, the AIR hose should also be disconnected. Unscrew and take out the ACL pipe outlet, reassemble, screw connections to recommended torque to ensure unwanted un-metered air flow to the engine.

How to Service the Air Duct Outlet Pipe on Mercury Milan?

To maintain the air cleaner outlet pipe, unscrew the crankcase vent and vacuum tubes and in case of partial zero emission vehicles, the secondary air injection hose. Unscrew and disconnect the pipe, and reconnect, clamping to 3 Nm and 5 Nm. Make sure that there is a safe seal to avoid unmeasured air.
