How to service the hood latch on Mercury Milan?

In order to service the hood latch, identify the location of the hood latch, take the two bolts out and store them out of the way. Torque the new latch bolts on to 12 Nm (9 lb-ft) and disconnect the release cable and align. Lastly, make sure that the latch is lubricated to work.
