Service of the power mirror motor begins with unmounting the exterior mirror glass. First disconnect the exterior mirror motor screw. Detach the exterior mirror motor by using a flat-blade screwdriver until the clips release. After that, remove the motor from its three mounting clips. Disconnect the electrical connector. The new motor installation requires performing the opposite steps from removal.
