After removing the fitting nut and discarding the O-ring seal from the condenser outlet connection, it is necessary to install the new fitting with torque at 8 Nm (71 lb-in) during assembly. Removal of the A/C accumulator outlet fitting nut enables you to disconnect the fitting along with the discard of its O-ring seal prior to tightening the new fitting to 8 Nm (71 lb-in). Follow the reverse steps of removal to install the A/C accumulator unit while using new O-ring seals and applying the appropriate clean PAG oil amount to the system. Complete the process by evacuating, running leak tests, and charging the refrigerant system wires.
