How to service and repair the cruise control servo on Mercury Monterey?

In order to repair the cruise control servo, disassemble the air cleaner assembly, disconnect actuator cable and electrical connector, and unhook the speed control cable. Take the actuator out, before installing the new actuator in place, by making sure the cables are well aligned. Install the air cleaner assembly again and attach the actuator cable as well as reconnect the electrical connector.
