Your next step should be to take off the thermostat housing after discarding its gasket and removing the thermostat housing-to-engine bolts. The bolts should be tightened in two steps starting from 8 Nm (71 inch lbs), followed by another 60 degrees of additional tightening. It is essential to mark the position of the vent pin when removing the thermostat. Reinstall the new thermostat according to the steps used for removal. The service concludes by filling typing and bleeding the cooling system.
