How to service and repair the turn signal switch on Mercury Monterey?

The first step to fix the turn signal switch requires ignition lock cylinder removal. Start by removing the ignition lock cylinder and then unscrew the three screws that secure the lower steering column shroud. The instrument cluster finish panel can be taken away from the vehicle after this step. The second step includes wiping off the upper steering column shroud and unscrewing the two fasteners that secure the multifunction switch position. Application of this installation concludes by reversing all steps of removal. Also disconnect electrical connectors before installing.
