  A: You can service and repair the intake manifold by first taking off the Air Cleaner (ACL) outlet pipe and unplugging the assembly that includes the Throttle Position (TP) sensor and Idle Air Control (IAC) and engine control sensor wiring from the electrical connectors. Start the procedure by taking off the fuel supply manifold before detaching the engine wiring harness which will be set aside. Unplug the intake manifold vacuum supply lines after turning the hoses and squeezing the tabs and then removing them from the manifold. To disconnect the brake booster vacuum line the user must first remove its quick-release coupling then pull out the line.
