Initiate the roof opening panel motor prior to servicing the glass components on the roof opening panel system whenever a repair has been made to any part of the system including motor removal or glass removal. The VENT position must be opened from the roof opening panel first. The roof opening panel glass requires removal of four screws through the space created after unclipping and setting aside the concertina blind top. Reinstallation must be performed by tightening screws to 4 Nm (35 lb-in) while making sure the concertina blind is properly reattached to its position. From outside the vehicle remove first the roof opening panel glass assembly. Reinstallation requires the same method as removal with a final check of the roof opening panel alignment. The service concludes with motor initialization of the roof opening panel.
