  A: The first step to service the windshield washer reservoir begins with right-hand wheel removal and placing the right-hand splash shield to the side. The splash shield becomes fully detached after removing six screws together with three pin-type retainers. Gather the windshield washer fluid from the disconnected hoses into a container before removing the electrical connector and washer hoses properly. According to service procedures remove the upper reservoir bolt first before lightly unscrewing the two lower reservoir bolts to remove the windshield washer reservoir. Reinstallation requires following the reverse steps of removal while preventing the windshield Washer Pump operation until the reservoir is completely full.
