    Q:
How to service the rear bumper cover on Mercury Grand Marquis? Posted by Customer
    A:
The service process for rear bumper cover begins with correctly supporting the vehicle in a raised position. You need to begin by removing rear bumper cover screws and proceeding with taking out six pin-type retainers which are split between three on either side. Each side contains three screws for the rear bumper cover which needs to be removed followed by lower the vehicle. Unfasten the pin-type retainers from the luggage compartment rear trim panel along with the luggage compartment lining material placed to the side. First detach the four nuts on each rear side of the bumper cover before pulling out the six other nuts located on either side to disconnect the rear bumper cover. Simply execute the very opposite steps to reinstall the new cover.
