    Q:
How to service and repair the AM/FM antenna cable on Ford Edge? Posted by Customer
    A:
Begin service and repairs of AM/FM antenna cable only once you remove the Audio Control Module (ACM). Begin by removing the front interior lamp with the right-hand (RH) A-pillar trim panel. Detach the AM/FM antenna base bolt and remove its cable connection to the antenna before tightening both components to 7 Nm (62 lb-in). Both the RH sun visor and headliner need to be lowered for access to the AM/FM antenna cable bolt before removing the bolt and cable along with securing the bolt at 12 Nm (106 lb-in) when reinstalling. First disconnect the scuff plate on the RH front door before unjoining the antenna cables then free the antenna cable from its pin-type retainers for complete removal. Finish the process by performing the reverse steps of removal for antenna installation.

    Q:
How to service the satellite radio antenna cable and its built-in splitter on Lincoln MKX? Posted by Customer
    A:
Service of the satellite radio antenna cable which is an electrical harness component requires technicians to add a new component then fasten it to the harness. Start the service by cutting the edges off the existing cable then taping them to stop NVH problems. The front satellite radio antenna cable contains an integrated splitter to distribute satellite radio and GPS signals yet this splitter needs complete replacement by cutting out and installing a new component on the wiring circuit. You should cut the current splitter after placing the new splitter correctly and ensuring its proper installation to stop NVH problems.
