Two clamps should be released after disconnecting the power steering cooler hoses. Remove the two bolts that secure the power steering cooler before removing it from the position. The installation of the new cooler requires bolt tightening to 11 Nm (8 ft. lbs.) using the reverse procedure while also filling the power steering system during the reinstallation.

To install, run the opposite removal steps and perform power steering system filling and bleeding before checking for any fluid leaks.
