Service and repair operations of the Control Module HVAC require instrument panel insulator removal whereby pushpins must be removed and the courtesy light must be disconnected. First move on to disengage the vacuum harness connector before placing it aside. First disconnect the wiring harness connector from the A/C blower motor speed control then remove the component with its screws. Go ahead and take off the mounting brackets after performing these steps. Follow the reverse method to install the components after uninstallation.

The first step for servicing or repairing the control assembly requires you to take out screws from the instrument panel steering column cover until it drops down before repositioning the instrument panel finish panel. Take off the screw until all clips are freed to shift the instrument panel finish panel from the instrument panel. Push in on the retaining tabs to detach the automatic temperature control sensor hose and elbow from the instrument panel finish panel whereas the in-car temperature sensor removal happens through pressing retaining tabs to extract it from the trim panel. Remove the screws along the radio chassis before repositioning it while you will need to separate the electrical automatic temperature control module from the instrument panel step by step by removing its screws. Detach the electronic automatic temperature control module by first removing the vacuum harness connector and the nuts then disconnect the electrical connectors. The installation requires performing all the steps in reverse order to the removal sequence.

Disconnection of the battery ground cable is essential for servicing and repairing the cruise control switch with remote audio/climate controls. Follow procedures to take out the speed control actuator switch from the steering wheel but protect the steering wheel structure. First disconnect the electrical connector which belongs to the speed control actuator switch then take out the switch by hand. You should revert all steps performed during removal to install the unit. The vehicle will show abnormal drive behavior after battery disconnect and reconnect since it needs time to learn its adaptive strategy through minimal driving of at least 16 km (10 mi).
