Service and repair tasks for the right-hand exhaust manifold need the suspension of the vehicle on a hoist along with disconnection of the battery ground cable. Separate the dual converter Y pipe while you remove its bracket by unfastening the nut and bolt. First disconnect the EGR tube by unscrewing its nut before removing the exhaust manifold by eliminating the six bolts and throwing away the gasket. Begin installation by placing the new exhaust manifold gasket then add the exhaust manifold followed by its bolts which should be tightened to 10 Nm (89 in. lbs.) first then to 22 Nm (16 ft. lbs.). And finally reconnect the EGR tube by tightening the nut while reinstalling the bracket along with its bolt and nut. Finish the process by attaching the dual converter Y pipe then lower the vehicle and return the battery ground cable in place.

Lower the vehicle and reconnect the battery ground cable.
