Service of the roof opening panel glass begins by initializing the roof opening panel motor after repairing any part of the system as long as the motor or glass removal or assembly modification or component installation occurred. Start by setting the roof opening panel to VENT mode through the opening panel mechanism. The roof opening panel glass requires four screws removal that becomes accessible when you unclip and reserve the upper part of the concertina blind. Rescrew the roof opening panel at 4 Nm (35 lb-in) with proper reattachment of the concertina blind after installation. The next step requires removal of the roof opening panel glass assembly through the outside of the vehicle. Reverse the removal steps to install the roof opening panel while forming a correct fit with the roof opening slot. Then activate the roof opening panel motor.
