The technician should disconnect the exterior door handle actuating rod from the rear door latch then remove the three bolts from the rear door latch before reinstallation requires a torque of 12 Nm (9 lb-ft). After removing the rear door latch assembly the technician must take out the exterior door handle release bolt and cap while securing the bolt measure to 7 Nm (62 lb-in). During reinstallation secure the exterior door handle bracket along with its nut by tightness of 7 Nm (62 lb-in). Finish up the procedure by following all reverse installation steps.
