    The first step for servicing or repairing rear brake flexible hoses requires removal of the wheel and tire. You should remove the brake caliper flow bolt followed by discarding the two copper washers before tightening the new bolt to 40 Nm (30 lb-ft) during installation. When reinstalling disconnect the brake tube fitting from the LH brake flexible hose junction block with a torque of 18 Nm (13 lb-ft). The repair of the RH brake flexible hose follows brake tube servicing by removing the brake flexible hose bracket bolt and the RH brake flexible hose which needs to be fastened at 25 Nm (18 lb-ft) torque when replacing it. When installing the LH brake flexible hose then disconnect its brake tube fitting and make sure it reaches 18 Nm (13 lb-ft) of torque force. The axle vent and LH brake flexible hose will be removed after dislodging the brake flexible hose retaining clip. New installation requires torquing the new hose to 17 Nm (13 lb-ft). After reversing all brake flexible hose installation processes you must bleed the brake caliper for both RH and LH positions. Employ brake fluid which is clean and matches manufacturer requirements to keep the system free from contamination while being cautious of fluid effects on paint and plastic surfaces since immediate water cleaning removes spills.
