    Q:
How to service the A/C condenser core on Mercury Marauder? Posted by Customer
    A:
A leak test must be performed for the suspected condenser core before its removal. If no leak exists then the condenser core can be serviced. A new suction accumulator needs installation only when the system contains contamination because of A/C compressor failure combined with suction accumulator damage. Refrigerant recovery must start the procedure followed by removing the battery with its pin-type retainers and upper sight shield from the radiator. After cutting the condenser fittings users should remove both O-ring seals. To detach the radiator brackets utilize bolt removal and afterwards remove the condenser bracket nuts. The evaporator needs to be tilted away for complete removal of the A/C condenser core. The installation procedure involves reversing all removal steps while using new O-ring seals that received PAG oil lubrication before installing the components and adding clean PAG oil to the correct amount in the refrigerant system. The refrigerant system should undergo evacuation followed by testing for leaks and then be charged.
