Service of the windshield wiper motor begins with removing the windshield wiper arms. Begin the cowl panel grille removal after disconnecting the washer hose and removing its push-pin type retainers. The second step involves removing the washer hose grommet that is secured to the cowl panel so place the hose aside. The A/C air inlet filter should be removed when it is an applicable service. Start the procedure by removing the nine cowl panel bolts before taking the cowl panel away from the vehicle. Disconnect the electrical connector from the windshield wiper motor then remove the four securing bolts which attach the motor. The wiper pivot arms get installed to the windshield wiper motor while using a bolt with recommended torque of 15 Nm (11 lb-ft). Install the three windshield wiper to cowl panel bolts in place and tighten them to 15 Nm (11 lb-ft). The cowl panel needs reinstallation in the vehicle space before connecting the windshield wiper motor electrical connector. The washer hose installation begins with placing it and the grommet into the cowl panel followed by screwing and tightening the nine bolts to 6 Nm (53 lb-in). Reinstallation of the A/C air inlet filter should be performed if necessary. Fasten the washer hose to the grille before returning it to its position into the vehicle while securing the push-pins afterward. After winding completion check alignment of the wipers by cycling them while installing the windshield wiper arms and nuts with a torque setting of 27 Nm (20 lb-ft).

You should start the windshield wiper motor service by removing the windshield wiper arms first. Disconnection of the washer hose begins the procedure that requires pushing out the pushpin retaining points of the cowl panel grille. Take the washer hose grommet out from the cowl panel then set the washer hose aside. The A/C air inlet filter needs to be removed only when present. You will need to first remove the nine bolts securing the cowl panel before taking off the panel from your vehicle. The windshield wiper motor electrical connector needs removal while four bolts need to be taken out that secure the windshield wiper motor. When installing wiper pivot arms on the windshield wiper motor use a bolt which needs to be tightened to 15 Nm (11 lb-ft). Secure three windshield wiper bolts onto the cowl panel while tightening them to 15 Nm (11 lb-ft). Reinstall the windshield wiper motor electrical connector while putting back the cowl panel into the vehicle. The washer hose installation into the cowl panel comes after inserting the grommet. Then torque the nine cowl panel bolts to 6 Nm. The A/C air inlet filter needs to be reinstalled when possible. Put the cowl panel grille in its place followed by washer hose connection before using pushpins to secure it. Reinstall the windshield wiper arms before securing the nuts with 27 Nm torque. Proper wiper alignment requires running the wipers once after installation.

Take out the rear wiper module itself.

Disconnect the washer hose.

Position the rear wiper module back onto the liftgate.

Take off the rear wiper arm nut and the rear wiper arm, then disconnect the electrical connectors.
