Blower Motor, Rear

You must begin blower motor servicing and repair by taking out the passenger side insulator panel. Cautiously remove the aftermarket air filter together with its mounting bracket from the cover during maintenance. The first step requires separating the christmas tree retainer both from the motor mounting plate as well as the connector. Start by removing the blower motor cover when you detach its three screws and push on each of the three tabs until release. The removal of the cover makes it possible to access the blower motor through a sequence of three screw removal and motor extraction steps keeping the wheel from any potential damage. The first step after motor removal is to detach the wheel by first removing the push clip followed by taking out the wheel itself. Finally, remove the gasket. Follow the opposite steps of removal to install the parts.

Service of the center console blower motor requires the removal of the floor console with its braces through eight screw detachment. Detach the blower motor duct through unscrewing it before extracting the blower motor assembly by removing three nuts and extracting the motor from the bottom of the console. Separate the harness connectors first followed by the removal of the blower motor resistor by disconnecting its connector then removing its bolts for extraction of the resistor. To begin you should unscrew the five screws that secure the blower motor lower duct cover then proceed by removing the upper duct cover by taking out its three bolts. You can remove the blower motor after disconnecting its connector and removing the two bolts while extracting the motor from the console. To install the assembly follow the opposite procedure of removal.

Disconnect the electrical connector, then remove the three motor cover bolts and the blower motor cover.

Take off three nuts and extract the motor from the bottom of the console.
