How to Address Issues with the Blower Motor in a Ford Focus?

The blower motor service procedure starts with footwell lower trim panel removal before opening the glove compartment to remove the footwell vent air duct and unfasten the hose. Close the glove compartment after which disconnect the electrical connector and uninstall the blower motor. The installation process is performed by following the opposite sequence of removal steps.

How to service the blower motor on Ford Ranger?

The first step for servicing the blower motor involves disconnecting the connector from the speed control servo followed by screw removal before relocating the speed control servo. The wires should be disconnected first before removing the blower motor housing tube. Start by taking out the blower motor after you disconnect all screws which secure it. The service of the blower motor ends with the removal of its retaining clip and blower motor wheel. Repeating the uninstallation steps allows for a correct reinstallation outcome.
