    Q:
How to service and repair the radiator on gasoline engines on Ford F-350 Super Duty? Posted by Customer
    A:
You should follow these steps to service and repair the radiator of gasoline engines while the vehicle is on a hoist in NEUTRAL gear position. Begin radiator service and repair by draining the engine cooling system then moving on to remove the cooling fan together with the cooling fan shroud. Secondly you should detach the power steering fluid cooler with its two bolts while placing it away from the area before tightening both to 11 Nm (8 lb-ft) when reinstalling. One must disconnect the A/C condenser from the radiator through the removal of two bolts while tightening them to 8 Nm (71 lb-inch) when reinstalling. The two hoses along with the transmission auxiliary fluid cooler should be disconnected from the radiator after removing two bolts and subsequent installation torque should be 11 Nm (8 lb-ft). You need to disconnect the retainers holding the air deflectors before removing the clip that allows quick disconnect of the lower radiator hose coupling. Finish the replacement by detaching the radiator support bolts, radiator support clamps and remover the radiator itself while installing these parts with 10 Nm torque (89 lb-inch). The radiator servicing process requires the removal of both radiator support insulators but the servicework is finished by performing the installation steps in reverse order.
