Radiator Assembly

You should start radiator service by putting the vehicle in NEUTRAL on a hoist while draining the cooling system. The next task entails removing the transmission fluid cooler. Detect the order of removal in the illustrations and tables before initiating removal. After completion reverse the procedure for installation. Complete the cooling system filling task while conducting a bleeding process. To align the radiator technicians must use mechanics wire to attach the radiator and condenser to the upper support with 2 inches of wire length left to allow condenser movement before eliminating the radiator alignment pins. Start the tube disconnect procedure of fluid cooler tubes by penetrating the tube slightly followed by squeezing the retaining clip followed by turning and drawing out the tube. The power steering lines need removing from radiator lower support sides before removing the bolt and setting the A/C muffler bracket to the side. End the procedure by lowering the vehicle and cutting the mechanic's wire while taking away the radiator unit together with fans and shroud.

Remove the 8 pin-type retainers and the upper radiator sight shield.

Detach the transmission cooler tube clips, push the fluid cooler tube inward slightly, squeeze the retaining clip, and twist to pull it out of the connector.
