You must use care while prying the side shield to reach and remove the recliner handle clip. Reach and remove the pivot handle clip by accessing it from the bottom of the side shield. The first step for backrest-to-cushion bolt servicing includes right-hand cable end release before detaching it from the anchor retainer and then completing the left-hand cable end release and its anchor retainer removal. When working with the seat cushion trim cover disassembly remove first the J-clips then proceed to separate carefully the upholstery sheets from the hook and loop strip to protect the foam pad. Before removing the cushion trim cover you must dispose of the hog rings along with it. The final stage of this process requires conducting reassembly in the opposite order used for disassembly.

The repair and servicing of the second-row bucket seat cushion requires starting by removing the bucket seat. Follow the listed order for differentiating components. Tighten the new installation to 23 Nm (17 lb-ft).

Remove the cushion trim cover, followed by the cushion foam pad from the seat cushion pan.

Repeat the process for the right-hand safety belt buckle, also tightening to 58 Nm (43 lb-ft).

Detach the backrest thermo-electric device (TED) electrical connector and disconnect the backrest climate-controlled seat duct from the blower.

Reverse the disassembly steps, reinstall the driver seat, and repower the SRS.

Begin by removing the third row seat and backrest.

Remove the four backrest-to-cushion nuts, release the hook-and-loop fastener, remove the fabric flap, and release the center J-clips.
