The process to program keyless entry transmitters becomes possible only when the anti-theft system remains unarmed and non-active. Turning the ignition switch from OFF to RUN four times within three seconds and stopping on RUN will enter program mode which causes the locks to operate. A keyless entry remote transmitter will lock and unlock the door to confirm programming if any button is pressed. To program more remote transmitters do the ignition sequence again before 7.5 seconds expire. Program mode can be exited by waiting for a complete 7.5 seconds.

An effective keyless entry remote programming process needs all transmitters present at the same moment. After setting the ignition key to RUN from OFF multiple times within three seconds, you will enter program mode to lock and unlock doors using the keyless entry. For programming each remote transmitter select any button which will lead to the doors locking and unlocking as confirmation that the programming was successful. Repeat the button press for new transmitters within a time frame of 7.5 seconds. The previous sequence must be restarted when this time exceeds 7.5 seconds. Program mode exit occurs when a person waits at least 20 seconds. The necessary period for waiting after turning the key to OFF or completing remote transmitter programming must be observed to prevent programming failures and conduct remote transmitter testing.
