New belt assemblies should be installed unless a qualified technician determines that the assemblies show no damage and operate correctly.

A new safety belt assembly must be installed.

The safety belt retaining areas for damage and distortion.

Reverse the removal procedure and check the active restraint system for correct operation.

Failure to adhere to these guidelines could increase the risk of injury in collisions.

Remove the safety belt anchor bolt and safety belt, ensuring to tighten the new installation to 55 Nm (41 lb-ft) with the anti-rotation tab correctly aligned.
