To achieve proper system functioning it is vital to use the exact torque value when securing the air bag side impact sensor retaining bolts. Complete the installation only after verifying the battery negative cable remains unconnected and proceed with reversing the removal method followed by system power-up. Security glasses are mandatory and the sensor bracket and wiring must undergo post-collision deformation inspections. Replacement of damaged components is needed followed by proper safety precautions.
