The installation process starts with placing new gaskets on the sun visor before removing it. A professional force tool should be used to detach the sun visor (3604118) from the vehicle by disconnecting its electrical connector after discarding the screws (36041A32). The sun visor gasket (365OOAl6) needs to be discarded following removal from the gasket slot. The procedure requires removal or replacement of the headliner whenever the technician works with a rear rivet nut. Verify that any holes which do not comply with specifications meet the standard requirements. The procedure for installing new sun visor retaining screws or rivet nuts requires you to first grind or drill both components flat before punching the remaining rivet nut through the hole for new assembly. Both mating surfaces require cleaning before installing the sun visor and roof panel while using anti-rattle tape to secure the electrical connector. Reinstall the sun visor according to the reverse order of removal steps.
