Throttle Body

We need to uninstall the throttle body from the car before cleaning it while avoiding using items to maintain throttle plate openness because they might cause bore or plate scratching. Start by taking off the air cleaner outlet pipe followed by the electronic throttle control connector disconnection. Disregard the coolant inlet hose and coolant outlet hose from the throttle body interface before plugging them. Separate the throttle body with its four securing bolts while getting rid of the previous throttle gasket. Apply a new gasket to the throttle body before bolting it into place with 10 Nm (89 lb-in) torque then reinstall everything in the reverse order for final assembly.

Begin service and repair of the throttle body by draining the cooling system first. The service begins by disassembling the air cleaner outlet pipe then you should disconnect the battery ground cable. Proceed by disconnecting the electronic throttle control electrical connector and the throttle body (TB) through coolant inlet and outlet hose separation. The four securing bolts holding the TB must be removed before throwing away the existing TB gasket. New TB gaskets must be used in the installation process while torque bolts to 10 Nm (89 lb-in) tension. Return the tools and execute the reverse removal steps before filling and bleeding the cooling system to finish the installation.

Disconnect the electronic throttle control electrical connector.

Release the throttle body coolant inlet hose clamp, then disconnect and plug the hose.
