Installation is the same process, only reverse to remove the core bolts then repeat the steps to install, lubricating with PAG Compressor Oil. Only in case contamination is observed, replace the suction accumulator.
- Q: How to service and repair the auxiliary A/C Hose for the evaporator outlet and inlet to the expansion valve on 2002 Mercury Villager?A: To maintain the A/C evaporator lines, empty the refrigerant and prop the vehicle. Take the cover off, and unplug the inlet and outlet lines, all ports plugged. Once the rear trim panel has been removed, unhook the lines off of the coupling and expansion valve. To install, follow the process in the reverse and lubricate the new O-ring.
