Blend Door Actuator Installation and Repair Tips for 2008 Ford Escape

  • Q: How to remove and replace the RH temperature blend door actuator on 2008 Ford Escape?
A: In order to install the RH temperature blend door actuator, undo the upper center instrument panel finish panel and passenger airbag module. Open and loosen screws, take off wire harness holding screws and loosen the actuator. Do not place screws in the plenum. Take the steps in reverse order and screw tighten to 3 Nm to install the new actuator.
