    Service the Ford ring-gear axle on a hoist. Remove differential cover bolts, cover and rear brake disc. Remove pinion shaft lock bolt and shaft, push out axle and U-washer, reinstall axle, U-washer and lock bolt. Clean surfaces, apply silicone bead, install cover and refill traction-lok with friction modifier and lubricant.
