- Q: How to service and repair the A/C Hose for the evaporator outlet on 2008 Mercury Mariner?A: To service the evaporator outlet line, place vehicle on hoist, recover refrigerant, remove RH lower shield. Disconnect A/C compressor and TXV fittings (discard seals), detach harness clip and low-charge switch, remove line from receiver/drier. Reverse to install with new seals and O-ring, lubricate with PAG oil, evacuate, leak-test and charge.
