Unscrew the clips that hold the discharge line, and take them out. Installation should be reversed with new O-ring seals and lubricating the system. Lastly, evacuate, test leak and charge refrigerant system.
- Q: How to Service and Repair the A/C Condenser on 2009 Ford Ranger?A: The HVAC condenser needs to be repaired, leak-tested, refrigerant recovered and the ACL outlet tube removed. Check and change fittings, screwing to 8 Nm. Unscrew the radiator, take off retainers and the condenser core, screwing the new core to 12 Nm. Install new O-rings and lubricate the system. Finally, evacuate and charge.
