How to service the camshaft position sensor on 2000 Ford Contour?

To service the camshaft position sensor, unscrew the air conditioning and power steering hose retaining nuts, coolant hose studs, dipstick tube bolts and dipstick. Next, remove the exhaust manifold heat shield and disconnect the electrical connector of the sensor and then remove the sensor. Installation is at the reverse.
