Start by disconnecting both the power steering return hose and pressure hose from the steering gear before discarding the strap binding them. Begin by cutting off the power steering pressure hose from the power steering pump and covering both the pressure hose together with the pump. The power steering pressure hose and support brackets require unfastening through the removal of installed bolts. The technician must first detach the connectivity of fuel charging wiring electrical connectors before taking out the bolt which supports the bracket and then remove the electrical connector for the power steering pressure switch. Unlock the power steering hoses by removing the lower retaining bracket bolt followed by the upper bracket screw then opening the bracket.
