    A: You need to raise and secure the vehicle first before removing the front wheel along with the tire to work on the wheel hub and bearing of a motorhome. Position the brake caliper aside first and remove the hub cap along with the gasket from the hub-rotor assembly. The spindle and nut threads should be checked for damage while removing the cotter pin and adjusting nut with flatwasher for reassembly. Extract the outer bearing cone followed by the roller assembly then pull out the hub and rotor assembly from the spindle. A slide hammer and bearing seal remover should be used carefully to pull out the inner bearing cone and bearing seal while protecting the bearing cage. Position the hub spindle at the center to protect threads from damage while you insert the inner bearing cone along with rollers into the inner cup before sealing the wheel bearing hub with a proper installation.
