Start by using tool 16612 to support the hood while it rises and disconnect the service jack handle. The front upper air deflector (part number 19E525) can be removed by untightening its screws before lifting it free. The service must start with removal of the headlamps (part number 13008) and the combination lamps. The service begins with extracting eight stone guard pin-type retainers (four on each side) then moving on to unscrew the ten screws holding the radiator grille (part number 8200). The radiator grille requires removal by unclipping the release points near the opening panel reinforcement. Installation starts by mounting screws according to their specified order while using the locator notch to place the radiator grille onto the opening panel reinforcement through reversing the removal procedures.
