Instruction for reinstallation involves performing the opposite reverse order of removal. Put Multi-Purpose Grease Spray F5AZ-19G209-AA or an equivalent that fulfills Ford specification ESR-M1C159-A to grease the latches whenever required. Latches must not experience preloading from latch release rods because the rods must stay relaxed with no loose parts.
