How to service and repair the windshield washer pump on 2000 Ford Mustang?

In order to fix the windshield washer pump, take off the splash shield and left front wheel. Unscrew the electrical connector and the washer hose and take away the pump when the reservoir is drained to prevent spillage. Turn the installation procedure in reverse, and fill in the reservoir and do not use the pump until it is full.
