The Jet Plug Remover serves to both screw in and extract the seal component. The install process requires Motorcraft Super Premium SAE 5W30 motor oil with WSS-M2C153-G specification or equivalent to lubricate the seal and its edge. The Rear Main Seal Replacer should be used for crankshaft rear oil seal installation while following bolt alternation when tightening. After installing the transmission/transaxle and the flex plate or flywheel you should replace it.
