You should operate the Jet Plug Remover tool to insert and take out the seal. You can install the seal by applying Motorcraft Super Premium SAE 5W30 motor oil with Ford specification WSS-M2C153-G or an equivalent product to both the seal and its placement edge. The crankshaft rear oil seal installation requires the use of the Rear Main Seal Replacer while applying an alternating bolt-tightening method to properly fix the seal. You should replace the transmission/transaxle and then install the flex plate or flywheel.
