Begin by detaching the cable grommet from the dash panel followed by moving the shift cable from the manual control shift outer lever and finally proceeding to detach the cable retainer and shift cable. Feed the shift cable trunkwards through the access hole in the dash panel. To install place the shift cable through the dash panel opening before putting the grommet into position.
