To maintain the accelerator pedal cable, take off splash shield bolts and shield. Unplug throttle lever and roll forward with disconnect cable and slide the end off. On the non-electronic models, you would depress lock tabs to release it out of the bracket and the pedal and press it outside of the passenger compartment into the engine bay. Reinstall reversing steps.
