How to service and repair the intake manifold on 2000 Mercury Cougar?

In order to fix the intake manifold, take off the Air Cleaner outlet tube, separate the electrical connections, and the fuel supply manifold and engine wiring harness. Unscrew vacuum hoses and a vacuum brake booster line. Take out the generator and intake manifold, place in a new gasket and repeat the process of taking out and putting them back.
